golden_age_men_031For the last 15 years I have been taking people to New Mexico and Arizona to experience the land, the people and the ceremonies. This trip is inspired by ’spirit’; we step out of linear time to experience circular time and allow the sacred sites to talk to us about their heritage, their  wisdom and  their knowledge. We will be taking part in ’Sweat Lodges’, ‘Vision Quests’ and many other native American ceremonies.  We will have time to visit sacred healing  waters, high up in the mountains, talk and listen to the wise men and women of the land sharing with us their ‘heart talk’ and attend  the biggest Native American Indian Pow Wow in the world.
 Tuesday 20th April We arrive at Albuquerque Airport were we will meet you and take you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.new-mexico-taos-pueblo1
Wednesday 21st April Breakfast at hotel, drive to Santa Fe. Spend day exploring the area and visiting the old town. Overnight at hotel.
Thursday 22nd April We travel to Taos, stopping off at the hot springs of ‘oh calnate’ to soak in the natural healing waters and expeience a rebirthing ceremony. We continue on to the Taos Pueblo to explore this ancient Pueblo then we will have a private visit with grandmother Jean who is an amazing story teller and wisdom keeper of the old ways.  Standing Bear from the Taos Pueble will lead us in a sacred ceremony drumming and singing… Overnight at hotel in Taos.
Friday 23rd April We make our way from Taos to Albuquerque to spend the day at the ‘Gathering of Nations POW WOW’. Overnight at hotel in Albuquerque.
Satuspider-rock-canyon-de-chelly-arizona-george-oze1rday 24th April After breakfast we drive to Gallup for a day of touring around the Hopi and Zuni villages, famous for their native American jewellery. We will also visit Sun City on route and overnight in Gallup.
Sunday 25th April Morning off - relax before heading off to visit Canyon De Chelly in the afternoon. Sunset ceremony at the Canyon. Overnight at the Canyon.
Monday 26th April We drive the Grand Canyon for a morning sunrise ceremony, then we will drive to the ancient site of the anastasi to visit the ancient ruins. Overnight in Flagstaff.
Tuesday 27th April - Saturday 1st May After breakfast we take the scenic route to Sedona where we will be staying with Adam and Carmen Yellow Bird at their retreat centre for 5 days and 4 nights. During this time we will visit many sacred sites around Sedona and participate in sweat lodge vision quest and many other sacred ceremonies. All food, lodgings in tipis and ceremonies are included in the price. Then on Saturday we say our goodbyes and leave Sedona to drive tothe airport in Albuquerque to catch our flight home. 
Costs  are as follows:
Per Person £1250.00 approx (keeping to 2009 prices)
Breakdown:-
  • Flights, which you will need to book, should cost approx £350-400 and we recommend United Airlines. Search the internet for the best deals.
  • POW WOW entrance fee ($15) £9.  You will need to pre-book on line at www.gatheringofnations.com.
  • Accomodation for the 7 days we are ‘on the road’ based on two people sharing £168
  • Food for the 7 days we are ‘on the road’ £85
  • 5 day stop with Adam Yellow Bird ($500) £300. Cash only, in US dollrs, paid to Adam on arrival. All lodgings and food included.
  • Guide Fees, Transport Fees, Ceremonies and Administartion £288
  •  This ‘once in a life-time’ trip is limited to 8 people and a deposit of £220 is required on booking.
